They are America’s Greatest Generation.

They were born into a century ripe with possibilities. They greeted the challenge of these lofty expectations with fortitude, patience and grace and they built the most powerful, influential nation the world has ever known. They did it with strong hearts, brilliant minds and dusty hands. They held a passion for life, equaled only by their passion for liberty; they honored both in the factories, on the farms, in the fields of France and in the skies over the South Pacific. Through the times when others doubted them, they persisted, with an unwavering belief in honesty, hard work and the strength of the family.

They are our parents, our grandparents. They taught us to walk, to run, to drive, and to stop and listen. They gave of themselves because they inherently knew it was the right thing to do. Their generosity was instinctive and found its way to us through subtle and undetectable ways.

Today, their character and their desire for independence persevere, but their road is beset with financial, physical and emotional hardships. They need our help.

At Senior Neighbors, we have dedicated ourselves to helping our older Americans maintain their dignity and their ability to live independently. For America’s Greatest Generation, there is no better reward.
